Chocolate Fondue

A classic.

Nothing is better than enjoying the good life with family and friends. One possibility to create happy memories: eat a classic chocolate fondue together.

Ingredients:

Serves: 4

For the CHOCOLATE SAUCE:

1 bar RITTER SPORT Dark Chocolate

1bar  RITTER SPORT Fine Milk Chocolate

½ cup (4 ounces) Whipped cream

 

INGREDIENTS to taste:

Apples, cubed
Pears, cubed
Bananas, sliced
Kiwis, sliced
Pineapple, cubed
and/or

Salted pretzels

Biscotti

Pound cake, cubed

 

 

Preparation:

Prep ingredients for dipping first. Thoroughly wash or peel all fruits, slice and cube in ready to eat small pieces. Chop chocolate and transfer to large glass bowl. Add whipped cream and melt over hot water bath. Stir occasionally until fully melted. Transfer melted chocolate sauce to fondue, make sure to have a fondue that allows you to keep the temperature of the chocolate sauce constant with a heat source below the vessel. Serve immediately; decorate dipping items on small plates. Enjoy!

 

 

Tipp: for a different taste, add coconut or pistachio sprinkles.
