Social commitment at all levels
Ritter Sport employees take responsibility.
Social commitment is one of the basic principles of the Ritter family business. This is in no way limited to large projects organised by the management or the family.
The programme "RITTER SPORT helps – volunteering employees" supports the voluntary work carried out by employees. A specially organised fund can be used to subsidise specific projects. Employees can also take leave of absence for one or two working days in order to do voluntary work.
For example, since 2000 RITTER SPORT has been one of the main sponsors of the "Tour Ginkgo“, a three-day cycling event where donations are collected for sick children and their families. Employees from various departments are involved in this project.
Even the trainees actively take part. When doing several days of voluntary work in social institutions, they assume responsibility and become more aware of the social problems in our society.
